Search engine help! (And tag hub oil!) - Gem930 - 12-03-2024

This forum has been the greatest resource I can imagine for owning a Newell. However, I have to admit I cannot figure out the search engine.  I posted two screenshots of my search inquiry and my return. None of the returns had anything to do with my search. Can anybody give me a hand and tell me what I am doing wrong…. Oh, and if someone wants to pipe up on the proper gear lube for the tag axles, that would be great too!

I see you're in Idaho and have temp fluctuations like winter and summer. I'm in Alaska and this is what i use https://www.chevronlubricants.com/en_us/home/products/delo-gear-esi-sae-80w-90.html

I've used chevron lubes for everything except engine oil.

For that i use Shell Rotella T5

If you want a high grade hydraulic oil that works in super extreme temps I use. Side note... ITS NOT CHEAP!!

Most hubs are 80-90 or 75-140 gear oil. I usually run the 75-140 synthetic from Lucas. This is mainly because I am running in the south in the heat most of the time. If you run in cooler climates I would go with the 80-90.

Gregg,

Go to the box that says enhanced by google. Type in hub AND oil. I have no idea how you got the results you did.

My search screen does not give me that option.  Maybe because I’m using my phone??? I attached a screen shot of what my search page looks like.

RE: Search engine help! (And tag hub oil!) - Gem930 - 12-05-2024

That appears to be the same screen I’m using, what am I missing???

Yeah I'm scratching my head on that also.

A ha! It appears you gentlemen are accessing the search engine using the tool bar at the top of the screen, the one that says Gallery, Search, Portal, Members.

Do you have this screen?
