My radio cant be heard when the generator is running. It is on and all functions are operable but nothing comes from speakers. However it can be heard when generator is off and coach is running. Any suggestions as to why? Thanks

The radio in the dash or the stereo receiver radio ? The reason I ask is that Newell used some relays hidden behind the upper driver panel to allow either the dash radio or the stereo to play through the same speakers.
What year coach?
Has it always been this way, or just start?

Thanks Richard. Radio at dash runs thru amp above driver. Same speakers as sound system. It was working but not now when gen is operating. 2005 year model

Ok, I am a little slow on the uptake. So the dash radio runs through the house stereo amp? If I understand that correctly, then I have to ask is the amp on when the gen is off? Is the amp on when the gen is running? Because the house stereo amp runs off an inverter circuit. Maybe I don’t understand.
Or are you saying there is a 12V based amp connected to the dash radio?
I apologize for being so dense, but English is a second language for a redneck like me.
No two Newells are the same and who knows how previous owners may have wired the sound system.
