Lower small (convex) mirror is loose. Just wobbles around.  How can I dismantle and reattach the mirror?

I just did this to mine not that long ago, I noticed it wobbling a bit and did not want to loose it so I pulled it off. It is glued onto a plastic base. The plastic base snaps into the electric adjusters. There may be a wire taped on the back of the lens as well if it’s heated. I pulled the lens off gently as the plastic can be damaged if you get too rough with it. Get a plastic pry bar to help pry the lens off. I taped the wire back on the back of the lens with real duct tape, the good metal stuff not duck tape. Then I glued the lens back on with silicone caulk. So far it has held well. I made sure I cleaned everything really good with some solvent so that the silicone would adhere.

Edit, as Richard says, my memory chips are a bit corrupted. I adhered the lens back on with 3M VHB tape not silicone. It just came back to me!

Had it happen to my Ramco mirrors about 3 years ago. Used some JB Weld (cause it is what I had with me). Never had a problem with it since then.
