We had a get-together with probably 100 people last night in the garage. It made me really want to have a nice big space at home. The coaches were all a big hit with the guests and we ended up meeting several Newell owners including Cindy and Joe Galowitch - very nice people and we had a great time sharing stories. Very fun night overall and Tom’s wife, Darlene out-did herself (as usual) with tons of Pork Butts and cheesy potatoes! Yum! Then she topped it all off with Fudge Brownies that were out of this world. I think this should be a yearly Newell get-together :-) We may need more buddy plugs next year!

thanks adrian.  count was closer to 160 people, a mix of friends we have made over the years.  

we ask folks to bring used clothing that we donate each year to a small local thrift store that helps fund a small food bank here in wittmann called sagurao janes.  

we got quite a lot of clothing to take there this week.

darlene did 70 pounds of pulled pork, funeral potatoes, baked beans, chips and brownies.  

we had help from all our newell friends that were staying here with us as well as our local family.
