Coach 480 just did all the bags recently
front bags- newell part # 712040 firestone # w01-358-9200
drive bags newell part # 16226 firestone # w01-358-9477 ridewell # 1003589447c
tag bags newell part # 19216 goodyear # 11r1-080
all parts were sourced thru newell or the internet. just fyi. Have fun the drive bags are a major pain in the butt. you are going to need fitting and new air line. will need a blow torch to get the gigantic old air line system off, and some big a-- wrenches.

Adam,
Do you have the independent front suspension or solid front axle?

Did the original front air bags have the 1" opening in them? if so how did you connect to the new air bags with the 3/8" air hole in them?

My '98 has the 1" fittings in the front bags and the drive bags. I replaced my drive bags with bags that had a 1/4" air line fittings in them. I re-routed 1/4" air lines going to the ping tank and ran them directly to the air bags. You could do this or if you wanted to keep the ping tank you could put a reducer in the tank and reduce the line size down.

Its the front bags I'm trying to change. They had 1" lines but now you can only get air bags with a 3/8" inlet. I cant see a way to remove the 1" lines from the air tank to put a reducer in and run the 3/8" line. Its like Newell built the coach around these tanks and lines and there is no access to make these simple changes.

for the front setup on mine i had a leak in the ping tank or top fitting or 1 inch airline for as long as i have had the coach....since 2011. it is totally un accessible. on the drivers side.
2 years ago or so when richard was here, we took the front air bags out, put reducers in the 1 inch port and plumbed the directly to the hwh six pack. bypassing the ping tanks.
when newell went to the valid setup in 04, the eliminated the ping tanks and just have 3/8 lines running.
as an experiment recently, i raised my coach all the way up. it has been rock solid for 3 months.

The ping tanks are totally worthless with a 3/8 entry into the air bag. Two ways of getting around that. One as Tom and Jeff said run a new line directly to the six pack. Two, remove the 1/4 line going into the ping tank, splice on a section to reach the air bag.

Thanks Tom. Did you just use DOT fittings and line or did you use the Aeroquipo steel braided line
