Leaking kitchen faucet and it's replacement
#1

The original Grohe kitchen faucet started leaking from back of the pull-out spray head.  I had tried to get it apart to see if we could fix it, but it wasn't coming apart.

We weren't very fond of the white plastic anyway so we took the opportunity and replaced it and the insta-hot faucet.

We found a matching pair of faucets, one for the main and one for the insta-hot on the website perigold.com that we really liked.  The brand is Brizo and they make some pretty cool stuff.

Just wanted to share a small update to the coach.
(Please ignore the stained blinds, they're also on the short list for updating lol)

Is the insta-hot LPG?

Looks nice! I didn't bother repairing mine either and went with brushed nickel.

The insta-hot is electric, it takes a couple of minutes to reach temp but works great.

The brushed nickel is a really nice look, too. Our coach has black floors and gold accents so that's why we went with the black/gold. The only silver is the master bath faucet and my wife is wanting to replace it at some point as well.

The insta-hot should reach temperature immediately. We used the one in our Newell regularly and put one in the house. They do have to replaced occasionally if the element burns out or the tank starts leaking. Home Deport and Amazon sell new units. Yours may be the victim of mineralization/calcification build up on the heating coils or it may need to be turned to a higher setting on the temperature knob on the front of the heater unit.
