Bob, my tag switch works as you have described - up on the switch adds air, down on the switch exhausts air.

Also, on my coach the air pressure gauge in the passenger rear engine compartment shows the pressure of the general air system. It is not specific to the tag bag pressure.i don't believe my tag axle pressure is adjustable by regulator as some are.
