This is my OPINION.
One if the headlights are truly dim, you likely have a voltage problem at the lights. It’s common in RVs, even Newells. Some good reading here. https://newellgurus.com/showthread.php?t...+AND+relay
Second, please do not retrofit the existing housings with LED bulbs or worse HID retrofit kits. As a guy who made his living in the fancy optics business, I cannot stand the GLARE clowns that do this.
If you can upgrade to LED assemblies, and Hella makes them, it may solve your problem without adding relays since LED lights are not terribly voltage dependent like Halogen.
