do the back slides go in at normal speed? if so, then the pump is working ok.
and btw, you said something about gears being stripped. there are no gears in the slide mechanisms. just hydraulic rams.
i will let richard step you through it. but i had a crazy thought, is it possible the front slide pin locks are down and not coming up. i would suspect that is not the case but something to at least look at. you said the control box shows the slide unlocked so i suspect that is the case. some coaches have the slide pin locks come down when the slide is extended and some do not. my coach 608 does not extend the slide pins when it is out. only when it is in.
also, it seems that what you are describing is changing. you said sometimes the pump motor doesnt come on and sometimes it does. but it does all the time when doing the bedroom slides. is that the case?
