I don’t want to hijack this thread but this is related: I have been fighting with the 50amp power cord ‘coiling’ into the bay correctly.  I did reinstall the metal sheet that was used to ‘box’ in the cabling but I have to fight to get it into the bay in a nice neat coil.  Is there any way to make this cable feed into the box correctly or am I doomed to always have one hand precariously hanging in the bay waiting to get caught up in the cable???

What power reel do you have?  Have you tried extending the cable all the way out and leaving it stretched out all day or all night?  I had the same problem when I installed the new cable so I left it completely extended in a straight line overnight which let the cord forget its memory.  That cured it.
