We just left Newell on Friday and were headed towards St George, Utah. We saw 3 Newells on the I system. One was a newer P50 style, I believe eastbound on 44. A little while later we saw one of the 2006/7/8/9 series headed the same way. Later we saw one of the smiley face units headed east on 40. What an awesome thing! You hardly see any in a week. Maybe they're heading home to Newell.

We live about 50 miles from Newell and we see more than most because 49 goes just outside our little town but seen a newer model on an old country road pulling a big black trailer, I made a comment about the size of the rig and trailer on facebook and they responded and had been in Jay Oklahoma at Mid America off road racing, but seldom see one on our travels east or west.

To see 3 in a day is rare, actually to see one is rare. You are more likely to see an albino bobcat!
