howdy,

does anyone know if the chrome package on the series 60 was a newell option or a standard feature?

i have seen it listed as an option, but yet i have never seen one without it.

On my Build Sheet, it is shown as standard equipment.

The chrome package is not listed on my build sheet, although my coach has it. Most Newells with the series 60 are so equipped, but Prevosts Detroits are not normally comparably equipped.

I've had 3 series 60 coaches all of them had the chrome. Pretty sure it is standard

where would the chrome be installed? no chrome on my 60

Valve cover, Air intake pipe to air cleaner, air cleaner pipe to turbo & intake manifold. Dresses up the engine nicely.

also the bottom radiator to water pump is chrome on mine.

i remember well because i had to remove it to put new hoses on.
