We need to replace our mattress as is probably the original I would imagine. It seems in good enough shape but it is not very comfortable. It's a big firmer than we like. So would any of you have any advice on place to shop or mattresses you have liked? I know everyone's taste may be different but if anyone would have some advice we would appreciate it.

Todd,
I have replaced the mattresses in every coach I have owned except the Newell. The Newell has a Temperpedic that I like very much. In the past we have always gone to local mattress stores and found a company that would make an inner spring mattress to our liking and custom size.

We use a memory foam mattress from Costco that we have been very pleased with. We do have a Temperpedic at home that we like better but the difference in cost was about 5 fold.

So guys are these two mattresses you are talking about then mattresses that do not have inner springs then? Just simply a mattress?

The mattress that I use is just memory foam. No inner springs. It is 12" thick. The wooden base that Newell uses is an adequate foundation for the mattress.
