This is an '04, 4 slides, 4 roof airs, opposing sofas in livingroom, detroit series 60, Valid leveling system and a rear bath. Unclear if it has a 1/2 bath and the steerable tag. Looks like a good price for a '04 with only 62,000 miles.

Andrew,
How can you tell if a coach has a steerable tag by looking at it?

The way to tell when a Newell has the steering tag is to look at the fiberglass fender between the drive axle and the tag axle. If it has several oval mirrors between the 2 axles it is a turning tag.
I don't know how many of you have had a chance to drive a turning tag axle coach; it is amazing!

I was able to drive one a few years back. Pat Dwyer took me for a test drive. And if I could have afforded one I would have purchased it that day!

Tuga,
Thanks for the education. There's always something to learn.

That coach (689) is close to the point where they added the ZF steerable tag. Coaches 699, 701, 707, 712, 714, 714, and 716 are all 2004's with the ZF steerable tag.
INFORMATIONAL MOMENT: 689 was the second coach Newell built with a EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) Series 60. The first 9 2004's (679-687) did not have EGR.

Well, I been speaking to the owner "Marc" about this coach. He has sent me a pdf file loaded with photos of it. I believe this is the best deal I've seen on an '04 Newell. I'd like to buy it but I can't until my home is sold. I suspect it will be gone before I can get my home sold.

Steve, FYI ~ the factory told me that the steerable tag didn't come into play until coach #700 and after.
