Wire through firewall
#1

Not sure the front dash is considered a ‘firewall’ but that’s all I know to call it.  I need to get a new wire from the inside of the coach to the outside for some LED light strips I’m running.  I know there are other 12-volt sources I could use but I need the new controller box to be inside and then run an extension wire (5 wires) to the underside of the coach to connect to the new light strip.
I searched and could not find anything here...

if you have a collar around your steering column, you can remove that and go thru the floor

Thanks Ernie! I was hoping for something on the passenger side but that may work too.

i believe there are wires going down through behind the fuse/junction panel in front of the passenger seat.

My coach has a hole in the very front passenger side where the dash air ducts and wires run. It is accessed by removing the angled front footwell wall just below the glovebox.

This thread helped me remember about the opening in the front of the ‘firewall’ this is pretty far up from underneath but I used a coat hanger (could use any wire) and was able to fish it through from inside the coach - just make sure to go straight down and push through about 3 foot of wire if you are to have any hope of seeing it.  I used some really long forceps to grab the wire from under the coach.  The rest was an exercise in patience and dealing with lots of really long wires that I will have to cut - this was for my new fog/driving lights…
