#1

Just purchased 2006 Nuwell it has ZF transmission with the problem. Anybody can suggest where I can find the remedy, the transmission stuck on manual mod and doesn't wan  shift to automati.

Just a thought, didn't you just do a bunch of work in the back of your coach? I would go back and check the connections on the transmission and make sure that something did not get bumped or damaged etc.

Yep, go through all the connections cannot see anything obvious damage or disconnected, really puzzled, and the worst thing cannot find any good mechanics specialize on zf transsmition.

Have you looked at nearby equipment shops? Like heavy truck and equipment? Lots of newer equipment has ZF transmissions in them.

These are shots in the dark. I have NO knowledge of ZF control logic.

Is the coach in fast idle?

Are the rooms in? With no room out alarms?

Is the air pressure up to normal?

Just recalling other issues that have flummoxed the transmission (Allison).

Not sure where you are located, do not have your location in your signature but Precision Transmission in Colmar PA is supposed to be the place for ZF heavy duty transmissions. I have not dealt with them personally but they are highly thought of over on the Wanderlodge forum.

My only experience is rebuilding a ZF for my car, have not messed with the big ZF's yet. I know they are particularly sensitive to all the parameters being exactly correct, they do not like idle speeds that are too high etc.

BTW what is the transmission model is used in your coach, this might help to know as well. Should be a data tag on the side of the transmission to tell you the model.

Any new information or a solution that We can learn from.

Is there a Fn Mode that has been activated?

I also have a ZF and as Richard said, slide control. Having a slide out, or a slide not all the way in will not allow the Trans to shift into gear. This is the only thing that has delayed me from moving in the past.
