My wife and I made it to our Christmas destination, but a tag axle hub cover did not. It appears the narrow (and even the thick) covers are out of stock…. AND EXPENSIVE! Not being a slave to originality, and kinda liking the newer look, I’m considering swapping them all out. I realize the new style are plastic and probably harder to clean, but I do like the look. Is there anything I should consider before I go this route?
Thx!

I put them on mine and like them - they are indeed more difficult to remove/replace when checking the oil but takes about 5 minutes - I just cleaned mine and did not find them hard to clean at all - I just use a long-bristle soft brush… Rudy Leggett (Aquahot guru) has some cool one that go on with one screw and are metal but not sure where he got them… send him a PM…

I replaced my front T-Kane covers with the Real Wheels covers after I damaged one of mine on a post at a campground. The real wheels covers are much easier to install and I much prefer that the mounts go on after the lug nuts and not under them like the T-Kane covers. I’ll get a pic of them here shortly, it’s a bit chilly here at our property in Tennesee this morning.
