New Valid Keypad available!!
#1

Good news, Gurus! Valid Manufacturing has a product, VEC02A019-06 that replaces VSS90A-019-06. This is the control keypad that came in my 2009 coach. The rear keypad was out when we bought the coach. No replacement was available until now. Woo Hoo!! We got one and it plugged right in and worked. (We shut the power off while plugging it in).
Our keypad, and the replacement are both touchscreen keypads. In the picture, I'm holding the new keypad, the old one is still mounted on the wall.
To change it out, I just shut off all power in the coach (including shore power and batteries). Then I removed the four mounting screws and took the keypad off the wall. I swapped the wire connector from the back of the old unit to the new one and screwed it back to the wall. The mounting screw holes lined up!!  After powering up the coach again, it woke up when touched and just worked like it was always there.
I'm so happy to have the second slide control station operational. This one's location is easier to reach for my wife too. I am not sure if this part would work in the older button systems. If you remove the keypad from the wall, the part number is on the back. Good Luck!!

That's good news!  1482 probably has the VSS90 also.

Jim,

The VSS90 has a black and white display. The VEC02A has a color display. Here are the power up pics.
The VEC02 starts up by showing the Newell brand immediately followed by the Select Room keypad. The VSS90 keyad shows "Loading" which is quickly followed by its Select Room keypad in black and white.
A noticeable difference is a lighter touch is needed to operate the VEC02 keypad as opposed to the older VSS90. All in all its very nice. Its also good that there is now a replacement for the VSS90. Feels good knowing there are parts to fix this rig.
The first two pics are the VEC02. I didn't get a pic of the VSS90 "Loading" screen.
